Contacting Flexus for Product Support

 

In order to receive product support for any of the Flexus products, you must have a valid software license and must be currently under maintenance.  If you have any questions regarding serial numbers, licensing issues or maintenance, please feel free to contact us at anytime and we will be glad to assist you.

Flexus Forum:

Flexus offers a discussion forum accessible to all COBOL programmers whether or not you are a customer of Flexus products.

Customers who are currently under maintenance will be given access to a special technical support area of the forum upon request. Those customers who allow maintenance to lapse will be removed from accessing the special technical support area of the forum.

If your maintenance has expired, or you do not have a current support contract, you will need to reinstate the maintenance/support contract before being allowed to access the special technical support area of the Flexus Forum. To reinstate your maintenance/support contract or check on the current status, please send an e-mail message to Flexus or contact your local distribution agent.

Generally in 24 hours or less you should receive confirmation that you have been upgraded to "client status" in the Flexus Forum or that you need to reinstate maintenance.

 

Flexus List Server:

To subscribe to the flexus List Server, send an e-mail message to

using the e-mail account to which you wish to send and receive e-mail.  In the subject line, please type "SUBSCRIBE"

In the body of the message, please indicate your name and company name for verification that your annual maintenance is still valid or that you have a current support contract.

If your maintenance has expired, or you do not have a current support contract, you will need to reinstate the maintenance/support contract before being allowed to subscribe to the list server. To reinstate your maintenance/support contract or check on the current status, please send an e-mail message to Flexus or contact your local distribution agent.

 

Generally in 24 hours or less you should receive confirmation that your name has been added to the list server or that you need to reinstate maintenance.

FTP Site Technical Support for Downloading Production Products:

Download the Latest Production Version of flexus Software Products Please Note: You can access our ftp site 24 hours per day/7 days per week, but unless you have been granted authorization to access specific file areas, by Flexus, you will not be able to download more recent versions of any Flexus product.  If you wish to have access to these file areas, please send an e-mail to Flexus to request full ftp site access.

Product Change Log Files

Flexus includes a log file with all of our products which provides a summary of the most recent changes to the product.  Changes are listed in the order of most recent changes first.  Changes are also listed for each version of the product.

The Changes Log file for the COBOL sp2 product, the COBOL FormPrint product and the Thin Client product may be viewed by clicking on the following links:

Flexus maintains a password protected ftp site which allows our customers under maintenance to download our production software 24 hours per day/7 days per week.

PLEASE NOTE: You must first obtain a valid User ID and Password from Flexus in order to gain access to this site. If you have purchased any of our products and are currently under maintenance, and would like to obtain access to our production ftp site, please send your request to


Once you have been assigned a User ID and Password, you will be able to download a production software file at the following cloud-based ftp site:

Access www.flexus.com
Hold the mouse over the Support menu option and a dropdown menu will display;
Click on the 3rd option on the dropdown menu, entitled "Flexus FTP Server;"
Enter your Username;
Enter your Password.

After you log in, you can change your password to something more familiar to you.
